Personal Training the T-Tapp Way
Congratulations Shawn H
Winner of the men's category in the 60 Day Challenge
Shawn has been T-Tapping for a while and has been losing before the contest came around. He decided to challenge himslf and take part in the 60 Day Challenge. Shawn decided he only wanted to work out for under 30 minutes a day for 4 or 5 days a week. We concentrated on the Basic Workout Plus, super slow, and controlled using muscle activation techniques. We added in some moves from Hit The Floor once or twice a week and just take a look at his results!!!

When I learned of the upcoming T-Tapp contest from my personal trainer Jeanne Zimet, I knew that I was ready to participate and succeed in my continuing quest of getting in better shape, and to possibly even win this contest! I knew that if I simply followed the winning formula of regular T-Tapp workouts and sensible eating, which included no eating after dinner, that I would see excellent results. And as you can see from these photos, it really worked!
I have been an avid road cyclist before discovering the benefit of T-Tapp. Having attended many spinning classes and having worked with a trainer where I lifted weights and did countless multiple hour workouts, I can now say with authority and from experience that nothing works as well as T-Tapp. T-Tapp is fun because
it is always challenging, and I always seem to discover new subtle nuances which improve my form and further the results that I am able to achieve. What's more, I can see and feel the difference it makes every day.
Thanks to T-Tapp I now have a significantly increased range of motion, which is very important in bike riding. As well, I have strength which is more functional than just bulking up with weight training. Oftentimes, I'd neglect the stretching, but with T-Tapp it is at the core of the exercising. It is a complete workout using little or no equipment. Before T-Tapp, spending hours in the saddle resulted in a stiff neck and sore shoulders and tight muscles. With T-Tapp, my neck is much more flexible and it is easier to turn my head.
For this T-Tapp challenge, I spent about 3-4 mornings per week doing Basic Workout Plus, and occasionally some of the more advanced moves, but mostly the basic core exercises. I found that they are truly the foundation and the basis for why T-Tapp works so well; it addresses your core strength and works every muscle group in a specific order. For the amount of time we spent utilizing T-Tapp, sometimes in as little as twenty minutes, the results far exceeded my expectations.
After doing T-Tapp compared with weight training I am most impressed with how well it works to increase flexibility and strength. I lost my chin, and was able to see my neck again. Both Jeanne, my trainer, and I, were amazed at the improvement in my flexibility.
I now recommend T-Tapp to many of my patients that notice how much weight I've lost, about 50 pounds in all, so that I can share with them one of the secrets to my success. By following this simple discipline of eating an exercise, the results speak for themselves.

I had two private sessions with Jeanne in order to learn the T-Tapp technique so that I could do it on my own. While I had the videos, I had never really tried the exercises and it only took two lessons for me to get up and running! Jeanne is insightful and easy going at the same time. I am so grateful. Now I am T-Tapping regularly and I have a friend I can email and call when necessary.

Working with Jeanne was by far the best thing that ever happened to my T-Tapp routine! Things that I had no idea I was doing incorrectly, Jeanne corrected! Form that I thought was right on, was really right "off"! Questions I had about form, tweaks, alignment, Jeanne helped me truly understand. Sometimes reading it or even seeing it on a video is just not enough. You need hands on, corrective action and encouragement that is unique to you! You will find all of this working with Jeanne! She's simply fabulous!
Here's just one of my own personal examples. I've been a distance inline skater for almost 10 years and I had "skater's thighs!" My upper leg muscles were really bulky and Jeanne showed me specific new moves and tweaks to the moves I was already doing that helped make those bulky thighs longer and leaner which I simply never thought would be possible!
There's a million reasons why you need a trainer, but here's the top 5 things Jeanne can do for you... this is why you need her:

I have been training with Jeanne for several months now, and can wholeheartedly recommend her. Jeanne will improve your form, and help you get more out of your T-Tapp workout. I would rate Jeanne's instruction and teaching ability as second to none. She has shown me how to maximize my time spent doing T-Tapp. Since training with Jeanne I am getting results beyond my expectations. Thank you, Jeanne!

"A good teacher is like a candle - it consumes itself to light the way for others" ~Author Unknown. This is the perfect description of who Jeanne is. I had the privilege to have Jeanne as a trainer working with me on my form as well as attending her class and clinics. Not only will she correct your form; she will explain why -- just like a teacher would teach a student to enhance a student's knowledge. She has the heartfelt passion to help any T-Tapper reach their goal because she truly cares. As Jeanne would say on her website - "If I can do it, so can you" - mark her words!
